Limited Spots Available For Baseball Winter Camps

East Carolina University (ECU) PiratesGREENVILLE, N.C. – Registration remains open for 2012 East Carolina winter baseball camps head baseball coach Billy Godwin announced Thursday afternoon. The ECU baseball staff will host a pair of camps this winter at Lewis Field inside Clark-LeClair Stadium starting with its Winter Prospect Camp (limited spots remain) and then its Weekly Winter Hitting Camp, which starts on Nov. 19.

Winter Prospect Camp
Dates: Nov. 10-11, 2012
Ages: Grades 9-12
Location: Clark-LeClair Stadium (Greenville, N.C.)
Cost: $250 (Day Camper)
Camp Description: The camp is an instructional day camp designed to prepare the camper for the opportunity to play baseball at the collegiate level. The quality of instruction will be oriented to the serious baseball player only. Limited spots still remain for this camp.

Weekly Winter Hitting Camp
Dates: Nov. 19, Nov. 26, Dec. 3 and Dec. 19 (Every Monday)
Location: Clark-LeClair Stadium/Indoor Batting Cages (Greenville, N.C.)
Cost: $150 (Per Player)
Camp Description: East Carolina Volunteer Assistant Coach Austin Morgan will be instructing and focusing on hitting fundamentals for players at each level of baseball. Analysis of swing, including video review and individual instruction will also be provided. Two sessions will be provided based on age and will be limited to 10 players per session.
