ECU Women’s Basketball Season Tickets Now on Sale

ECU Women's BasketballGREENVILLE, N.C. – Season tickets for East Carolina women’s basketball are now on sale and may be purchased at ECU On-Line Ticket Center or by calling the ECU Athletics Ticket Office (1-800-DIAL-ECU).  Women’s basketball season tickets are available for $30, while faculty and staff season tickets are available for $25.

Individual game tickets for women’s basketball will be sold at the Minges Coliseum Box Office the day of each game starting 1 ½ hours prior to tip-off. Tickets for all women’s basketball games are $5 for adults and free for youth (ages 17 and under). Groups of 20 or more are $3 each.

The women’s basketball team will also be offering fans some special game promotions throughout the season beginning with the athletic food drive benefiting the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.  Anyone donating nonperishable food items will receive free admission to games on November 17 or 18.   January 10 will mark the first of two Community Nights where all city and state employees can receive free admission with the second community night taking place March 3 for senior day.  National Girls and Women in Sports Day will be held this year on Thursday, January 31 versus Marshall.

The Pirates will welcome back all letterwinners on Sunday, February 17 and fans are encouraged to watch the former Lady Pirates face off against one another before the Pirates take to the hard wood at 1 p.m. versus Southern Miss.

On Feb 28 versus UAB, East Carolina will be participating in Play 4Kay to assist in raising breast cancer awareness on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond. In addition to the Play 4K activities on that day, East Carolina will be joining other NCAA member schools in the Pack the House Challenge.

The ECU women’s basketball season opens Friday, November 9 at William & Mary at 5 p.m. The Pirates’ home opener is scheduled for Sunday, November 11 when East Carolina hosts St. Andrew’s. Tip-off is slated for 5 p.m.
