Museum of the Albemarle proudly presents…Singer/Songwriter Jeanne Jolly along with Sutter’s Cold Star Band in Concert January 12, 2013

Elizabeth City, NC – Singer/songwriter and recording artist, Jeanne Jolly one of North Carolina’s own will take the stage in the Gaither Auditorium on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the Museum of the Albemarle in Elizabeth City.  Opening for Jolly will be Sutter’s Cold Star Band that features some of your favorite local musicians.

The ticketed show begins at 7:00 PM with tickets available in advance at $15 for FOMOA Members or $20 for Nonmembers. Tickets at the door (if available) will be $25 regardless of membership.  Seating is limited to 200 so the Museum encourages folks to purchase their tickets early to be guaranteed entrance. To reserve a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Row Seat, add $10 per ticket (LIMITED SEATING); for a 4th or 5th Row Seat, add $5 per ticket (LIMITED SEATING).  All other seats in the remaining rows will be at the regular cost.

Jolly looks forward to her return visit to Elizabeth City where she has previously performed and plans to officially release her newest CD, Angels while here.  Jolly has also performed in other North Carolina venues such as The Lincoln Theater (Raleigh), The Double Door Inn
Tickets are $15.00 for members and $20.00 for non-members.

Also, the opening act for the evening will be a combination of musicians who are former and present members of 3 different bands from the area..Members from the Sutter’s Gold Streak Band, Out’n the Cold, and The Five Star Band have agreed to combine their talents to start this magical night of music!

A cash bar for beverages, and complimentary light hors d’oeuvres will be available at that time.

The Museum of the Albemarle will also have a “Holiday Membership Discount” available during the month of December.

If you wouldlike to upgrade your seats to “limited reserved seating”, please be aware that a $10.00 fee will be added to the price of each ticket purchased. (Currently, the first 3 rows are being held for “reserved seating”)

(Charlotte), White Horse Black Mountain Theater (Asheville) and has traveled and performed in other states and venues such as Rockwood Music Hall (New York City), The Rutledge (Nashville, TN), WDVX Blue Plate Special (Knoxville, TN) and Quixotes True Blue (Denver, CO) just to name a few.  Recently, Jolly performed at festivals in Montana sharing the stage with such greats as Emmylou Harris and Mary Chapin Carpenter.

Performances begin at 7 pm and continue until 9:15 pm.  Ticket holders are invited to come early beginning at 6 pm for light hors d’oeuvres and Cash Bar beverages and to begin seating within the Gaither Auditorium.  Sutter’s Cold Star Band will open for Jolly beginning at 7:00 and continue until 7:45.  There will be a brief intermission at 7:45 before Jolly begins her 8:00 show.  Her performance will continue until about 9:15.  After that, Jolly will be available to her fans for autographs and CD sales.
