Gen-6 Testing Canceled Thursday, Resumes Friday From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Charlotte, NC Jan. 17, 2013 – The first day of NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Gen-6 testing at Charlotte Motor Speedway has been canceled due to weather. Testing is scheduled to resume at 9 a.m. Friday. Drivers are scheduled to be on track from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and from 1 until 5 p.m. Fans will be admitted into the grandstands free of charge beginning at 8:30 a.m. via Gate 5A near the speedway’s main ticket office.

Any fan who purchases a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series or NHRA race ticket will get a free 1:24 scale diecast and a free day-of scanner rental to listen to their favorite driver during Friday’s test session.
