College of Charleston Men’s Soccer Signing Day Central

Charleston, SC Feb. 1, 2013 – Welcome to the College of Charleston’s men’s soccer 2012 Signing Day Central! Stay tuned throughout the day for up-to-the-minute information on the 2012 CofC men’s soccer signing class plus hear what head coach Ralph Lundy has to say about the newest additions to the program.

“We have a great squad coming back this year,” said Lundy. “We are deep with lots of players. Last year we had lots of injuries which meant our players got some serious playing time through the second half of the season and, as a result, we’re a deep squad with quality. So, we didn’t need a big class this year. Right now we got three guys and we’re very pleased with these three young men.”

(7:38 AM) Ryan McLaughlin is the first member of the 2012 class to have his National Letter of Intent to the CofC athletic department. McLaughlin is a talented goalkeeper from Westerville, Ohio, where he ammassed numerous all-state, all-district and all-conference honors. Learn more about McLaughlin below.

(9:43 AM) Luke Huggett is the next to join the Cougars! Huggett come to CofC from Cloud County Community College which he helped captain to the 2011 National Junior College National Championship.
