Trilene® Offers Chance for One Attendee to Cast for $100,000
COLUMBIA, SC Feb. 15, 2013 – Berkley Trilene, the number one fishing line in America, will give one lucky fan attending the Bassmaster Classic in Tulsa, Okla., the chance to win $100,000 by simply casting into a target. During the final weigh-in on February 24, one individual in the BOK Center® arena will be randomly drawn from the crowd and allowed to cast to a target on the arena floor.
“The Trilene Cast for Cash event has been a huge fan favorite at the Classic for many years,” said Andrew Marks, Berkley Director of Marketing. “We’ve had several people come very close to claiming the prize over the years. Everyone at the final weigh in has an equal chance to “Cast for Cash” and hopefully someone will walk out of the arena $100,000 richer.”
The participant will be given his/her choice of an Abu Garcia spincast, spinning or baitcast rod/reel combination spooled with Berkley Trilene line. Renowned angler and television host Hank Parker will provide the individual with a one-on-one practice session to become better acquainted with the tackle for the best chance to win the $100,000 prize. The actual cast will be made prior to announcing the Super Six in front of thousands of angling fans.
