College of Charleston Cougars women's basketball

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Coming off a 2-0 road trip including a 74-71 win at Davidson, the College of Charleston women’s basketball team will host Chattanooga Saturday at 12:00 p.m. and Samford Monday at 7:00 p.m.

THOUGHTS FROM COFC HEAD COACH NATASHA ADAIR

On Women’s Health Day

“Our Women’s Health Day game is important for so many reasons. We want to educate and bring awareness to the community. We also want to show our support for breast cancer and ovarian cancer research. Please wear your pink and teal as we cheer on our ladies to victory. Let’s unite in TD Arena on Saturday, February 16 at 12:00pm for a day of hoops for hope of a cure.”

On game vs. Chattanooga

“Chattanooga is at the top of the league and they have been a powerhouse of the Southern Conference for a long time. We played them very well in the second half earlier this year at their place. They are a balanced team. They score on the perimeter and inside. We have to value possessions and finish plays. It’s a conference game against the number one team in the conference, so it’s going to be competitive. For us we need to come out ready and accept the challenge.”
