Cougars Continue SoCon Slate at Home Versus Davidson

CHARLESTON, SC March 10, 2013 – The College of Charleston men’s tennis team will host Southern Conference foe Davidson on Sunday, March 10 at 1:00 p.m. (ET) at the College of Charleston Tennis Center at Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.

 

The Cougars (2-6, 0-2 SoCon) will be looking to rebound from a tough spring break road trip where they went 0-3 against the likes of Chattanooga, No. 59-ranked Samford, and Tulane.

Davidson (7-3, 1-0 SoCon) is off to a hot start, having picked up their first two Southern Conference win on March 6 versus Chattanooga and March 8 at The Citadel.

 

“Davidson is off to a great start and we will have to compete for the entire match to have a chance,” CofC Head Coach Jay Bruner said. “Our team is ready to earn a step towards our goal.”

 

Following Sunday’s match the Cougars will have a couple days off before they head back to the road to take on Furman (2-6) on Thursday, March 14 at 3 p.m. (ET) at the Mickel Tennis Center in Greenville, S.C.
