CHARLESTON, SC March 22, 2013 – The College of Charleston men’s tennis team will look to extend its six-match win streak when it hosts Southern Conference foe Wofford on Saturday, March 23 at 1 p.m. (ET) at the College of Charleston Tennis Center at Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.

CofC (8-6, 4-2 SoCon) is continuing a five-match home stand, having recently beaten Nebraska-Omaha and UMBC.

Wofford (3-8, 1-3 SoCon) just picked up its first Southern Conference win via a 4-3 result over The Citadel on March 20. The Terriers will be looking for revenge from when the College defeated them 6-1 last spring.

“Wofford is going to be another tough conference match,” CofC Head Coach Jay Bruner said. “We’re happy to be playing at home for the third straight match. We need to play matches to improve in certain areas so it’s good that we’re playing again tomorrow.”

After playing Wofford the Cougars will get a few days of much-needed rest before hosting Lafayette on Wednesday, March 27 at 3 p.m. (ET) at Patriots Point.
