THE RESULT
The Bobcats had five players score in double figures against the Sixers but could not pull out a closely contested game, eventually falling, 100-92, on March 30 in Philadelphia. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (21 points and nine rebounds), Gerald Henderson (19 points and seven assists) and Kemba Walker (16 points and nine assists) led the Cats in scoring and flirted with double-doubles.

TURNING POINTS
Bobcats got off to a strong start, hitting 14 of their first 22 shots and earning a nine-point advantage by the end of the first (31-22)… The second quarter was not as strong for the Cats, as they connected on only 36.8 percent (7-for-19) of their shot attempts and gave up a 19-5 run to the Sixers. This led to a three-point advantage for Philadelphia heading into the second half (49-46)…The game was up for grabs with the Sixers holding a three-point advantage (87-84) with 5:09 remaining. Jrue Holiday converted on two back-to-back dunks to give the Sixers a seven-point lead (91-84) with 4:10 remaining… The Cats battled back but could not get the deficit below three points before losing, 100-92.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
The Bobcats shot well from the floor, connecting on 50.0 percent (38-for-76) of their shot attempts. Charlotte couldn’t find their touch from behind the arc (25.0 percent), while Philadelphia finished with an impressive 52.1 percent (38-for-73) from the floor and 31.2 percent (5-for-16) from long range…The Sixers held an advantage in fast break points 17-16… The Cats won the battle in points in the paint, 48-42.

BOBCATS PLAYERS OF THE GAME
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist flirted with a double-double and scored a team-high 21 points while shooting 81.8 percent (9-for-11) from the field. He also pulled down nine rebounds.

Gerald Henderson finished with 19 points, three rebounds, seven assists and two steals. Henderson has scored in double figures in 12-straight games.

SIXERS PLAYER OF THE GAME
Spencer Hawes had a productive game scoring 19 points on 8-for-12 shooting from the field, while dishing out six assists, grabbing six rebounds and coming up with one block.

GAME NOTES
Kemba Walker flirted with a double-double with 16 points and nine assists…Bismack Biyombo scored eight points and displayed his effectiveness on the boards by pulling down six defensive rebounds and three offensive rebounds.  He also showed his dominance on defense with three blocks… Josh McRoberts had a productive outing, scoring 15 points and pulling down three rebounds… Jannero Pargo lead the Bobcats reserves in points with 11 and came up with three rebounds and a steal.
