Marine Chevrolet Cadillac Raises $25,000 for Camp Lejeune Fisher House

JACKSONVILLE, NC July 23, 2013 – Marine Chevrolet Cadillac hosted their All American Anniversary Celebration Friday, July 19 through Sunday, July 21 to applaud 67 years of business. The weekend was concluded with a concert featuring country star Chris Cagle, and opening performances by Bo Edens and Jenifer Jack. All proceeds from the concert went to benefit Camp Lejeune’s Fisher House. Before the show, there was a meet and greet where about 40 fans got to meet Chris Cagle and have their photos taken.

Fisher House Check

A 50/50 raffle was held where 50% of money from purchasing raffle tickets went to the Fisher House, and the other 50% went to a lucky raffle ticket winner. The couple that
won the raffle, Mr. and Mrs. Thompson won $189 and donated over half of that back to the Camp Lejeune Fisher House.

Marine Chevrolet Cadillac would like to thank Carletta Blake of WRNS for emceeing the show, and the event sponsors, Piggly Wiggly, Got To Be NC, Pepsi, and WRNS for
participating and helping raise such an awesome amount to benefit the Fisher House.

A check presentation to the Camp Lejeune Fisher House was held on Monday, July 22, to officially announce the $25,000 raised by the group over the past week’s activities.

This event was successful in raising money for Camp Lejeune’s Fisher House and celebrating Marine Chevy’s 67th year of business in the community.
