Middle School Volleyball - Surf City, NC

“With volleyball now on the map in Surf City, we are running adult leagues, youth clinics and just concluded our first summer camp,” says Steve Unger, Athletics Supervisor.  “Our new league should cater to many players getting ready for play at their schools this coming winter.”

To be eligible, players from ages 10 to 15 must be enrolled at the middle school level for Grades 6-9. Home school students are also welcome.  The cost is only $40 and everyone will receive an official league shirt.  Practices will be held Monday nights from 6 – 8 pm and volunteer coaches are being sought. To get a taste of volleyball play, Open Practices for this age group will also take place from 4-6 pm on Monday afternoons from Aug. 12 – 26,  free to any players who have signed up for the league and Community Center members.  It is just $5 for guest registration.
