Pet Adoption Event: Adopt-a-Cat Month

Onslow County Animal Shelter - Jacksonville NCJACKSONVILLE, NC June 13, 2014 – Onslow County Animal Services is celebrating the American Humane Association’s national Adopt-A-Cat Month this June. Spring and summer typically bring a surge of cats to the nation’s shelters. Onslow County Animal Shelter is no exception.

Special discount cat adoption fees: All cats and kittens are $50 each. Adult cats one year or older are $5 each every Friday and Saturday during June. The adoption fee includes a rabies vaccination, Fel-O-Guard® 3 vaccine, and a spay/neuter certificate unless already spayed/neutered.

Don’t miss out on this special event. Your support is crucial to helping the county reduce the stray pet population and the associated challenges.

Citizens can also visit Onslow County Animal Services at 244 Georgetown Road from noon to 7 p.m. Monday, thru Thursday or Fridays noon to 3 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
