Closing Weekend: “Estampas de la raza” at the North Carolina Museum of Art

RALEIGH, NC July 25, 2014 – This weekend (Friday, July 25−Sunday, July 27) is the closing weekend of Estampas de la raza/Prints for the People: The Romo Collection and Tall Tales and Huge Hearts: Raúl Colónat the North Carolina Museum of Art. To celebrate, the Museum presents Gravity with Spanish subtitles on July 25. This screening salutes Mexican film director Alfonso Cuarón, who won the Academy Award for Best Director for Gravity. Additionally, entrance to Estampas de la raza will be free all day on July 25.

Friday, July 25: Screening of Gravity with Spanish subtitles, free admission to Estampas de la raza

  • Screening of Gravity presented with Spanish subtitles in partnership with the Consulate General of Mexico in Raleigh
  • The screening salutes Mexican film director Alfonso Cuarón, who won the Academy Award for Best Director for Gravity, and celebrates the closing weekend of the NCMA exhibition Estampas de la raza.
  • Admission to Estampas de la raza will be free on the day of the screening (10 am−9 pm).
