RALEIGH, NC July 25, 2014 – On August 2, 2014, North Carolina Association for CPAs (NCACPA) will be hosting “A Leadership Course in Financial Fitness” in Jacksonville, which provides current and veteran service men and women, along with their families, an array of resources for managing personal finances free of charge.
The three-hour event will allow attendees to learn tips and tricks to optimize tax returns, ask questions of finance professionals, and learn how to enhance and best manage a budget.
This event is part of NCACPA’s Financial Literacy initiative, which focuses on providing educational opportunities and resources to the community in an effort to cultivate greater awareness of the pitfalls to avoid and the strategies to follow to successfully manage personal finances and avoid debt.
The event will be held at the Northwoods United Methodist Church on Gum Branch Road, in Jacksonville, on Saturday, August 2, from 9:00 am–noon, with registration opening at 8:30 am. Preregistration for this event is requested.
