SNEADS FERRY, NC August 12, 2014 – Don’t be fooled into thinking this show is just for women.  “… the men in the audience were laughing and applauding just as hard as the women, and enjoying every minute.”  –Una Harrison, Progress-Index.com

Tania Gonzalez brings The Dixie Swim Club, a Jones, Hope, Wooten production to life with an all-star cast to the SFCT stage.   Five southern women, played by Sue Ferber, Tania Gonzalez, Marcia Hamilton, Andrea Horan and Amanda Williams, who were college swim teammates meet one long weekend every August in the same beach cottage at North Carolina’s Outer Banks to catch up, laugh and meddle in each other’s lives. The show focuses on four of those weekends, and spans a period of thirty-three years. The Dixie Swim Club is the story of unforgettable women–a hilarious and touching comedy about friendships that last forever.
