KINSTON – They were no shrinking violets, the women who took up arms to join the fray during the Civil War. “They Fought Like Demons: Women Soldiers of the American Civil War” will be presented on Aug. 11 in this summer’s final 2nd Saturdays program for the CSS Neuse/Caswell Memorial. Greensboro, NC – Due to a sudden illness and following the advice of his doctor, Rod Stewart has regretfully been forced to cancel his concert tonight with Stevie Nicks in Greensboro, NC.   The tour is scheduled to resume on Friday, August 3rd at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. Since reuniting on July 20th, Stewart & Nicks have performed six concerts on their Heart & Soul tour this summer – all which have all been met with overwhelming acclaim from critics and fans alike.   Ticket refunds will be available from the original point of purchase starting Friday August 3.
