The proceeds from this year’s Radiothon, are earmarked to buy the new Pediatric Gastroenterologist equipment to help in the diagnosis of reflux problems in young children. Games to be Seen in More than 2.8 Million Households,  a 50% Increase from 2011-12 NBA Season ATLANTA – SportSouth today announced the network will televise all 82 regular-season games of the Charlotte Bobcats 2012-13 NBA season, all in high definition. Bobcats games will be seen on SportSouth in more than 2.8 million households throughout North and South Carolina, a 50% increase in household distribution from 2011-12. Delayed-Harvest Trout Waters Open Oct. 1

RALEIGH, N.C. (Sept. 20, 2011) – The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission will implement delayed-harvest regulations on 26 trout waters in 15 western North Carolina counties on Oct. 1. Before Oct. 1, hatchery-supported regulations apply to these waters. Under delayed-harvest regulations, no trout can be harvested or possessed from these waters between Oct. 1, 2011, and one half-hour after sunset on June 1, 2012. No natural bait is allowed, and anglers can fish only with single-hook, artificial lures. An artificial lure is defined as a fishing lure that neither contains nor has been treated with any substance that attracts fish by the sense of taste or smell.
