Wise Becomes 13th Knight This Season to Go From Charlotte to Chicago Fort Mill, SC – Charlotte Knights outfielder Dewayne Wise had his contract purchased by the Chicago White Sox earlier today, becoming the 13th Charlotte Knights player to go from Charlotte to Chicago this season. Wise, who was signed to a minor league contract by Chicago on August 3, appeared in seven games for the Knights this season and hit .161 (5-31) with three RBIs and three runs scored.
