Indianapolis, IN – Greg Golson broke-up a potential inning-ending double play with a key move in the eighth inning and it helped the Knights get past first place Indianapolis for the third-straight day. With the bases loaded and one out, Golson’s take-out slide at second base in the eighth inning proved to be the difference as Jared Mitchell scored the game-winning run and the Charlotte Knights went on to beat the Indianapolis Indians 2-1 on Wednesday in game three of the four-game series from Victory Field in Indianapolis.
