CHAPEL HILL, N.C.—No. 24 North Carolina polished off Clemson 6-1 at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center on Sunday, as the Tar Heels pushed their record to 9-5 (6-1 in ACC play). Commissioners Name Coudriet as Next County Manager

New Hanover County – Today, the New Hanover County Board of Commissioners named new county manager, selecting experienced Assistant County Manager Chris Coudriet to succeed Bruce Shell. Coudriet brings to the position almost twenty years of public administration experience, with more than a decade as a county manager in North Carolina. He has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from East Carolina University and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Coudriet and his wife, Leigh, have two children: Montgomery, daughter age 10, and Silas, a son age 8. ROANOKE ISLAND – Join Roanoke Island Festival Park in celebrating the art of Dare County high school students at their annual show April 4- 28 in the Art Gallery. High schools participating include First Flight, Cape Hatteras and Manteo. Students from the three schools will showcase work, which includes student assignments as well as individual creations.
