Plan B age requirement remains

By Murphy Grant Staff Writer A teenage girl wakes up the morning after unprotected sex and knows she needs emergency contraception. Arriving at the store, she realizes she is not old enough. “Red Tails” documents Tuskegee Airmen history

By DakotaBriggs and Dakota Tholen News Editor and Staff Writer The new movie “Red Tails” documents the lives of the Tuskegee Airmen as they fought during World War II. “The Tuskegee Airmen were an elite group of African-American pilots in the 1940s,” according to the Official Web Site of the United States Air Force. “They were pioneers in equality and integration of the Armed Forces.” “Red Tails” begins with the Tuskegee Airmen setting off to defend the United States after the Allied Forces of Europe became desperate to replace the dwindling number of bombers.  The military was reluctant to send the blacks into battle as leading bombers, but it ultimately decided to choose survival over prejudice. “It’s really nice to […]

Carolina hosts St. Louis tonight RALEIGH, NC – Please be advised that, as of today, the home of the Carolina Hurricanes should be referred to as PNC Arena.
