San Diego, CA, July 27th, 2014-Crossing the country on a bus is something everyone should try to do more often. It’s a reasonably affordable way to actually see things. I rode the Greyhound from Wilmington, NC to Los Angeles, CA with a slight layover for Bonnaroo and a little Salem, VA vacation. You read about the festival previously and leaving the farm in Coffee County and the campsite was a pretty bittersweet moment for me. It was so much fun, you just wanted to go back and start over. Wilmington was held scoreless for just the third time all season – the last time being a month ago to the date against the Wilson Tobs. Teams continue unbeaten streaks leading into Saturday contests WILMINGTON, NC July 26, 2014 – Both Wilmington Hammerheads FC and Arizona United SC extended their unbeaten streaks with a 0-0 draw at Legion Stadium on Friday night. The Hammerheads were quick on the pitch early in the game and looking to dominate beginning with a header on goal from defender Ashani Fairclough. Forward Sammy Ochoa soon followed with a swift volley but was denied entrance on goal by Arizona goalkeeper Evan Newton on a diving save. A ribbon cutting will open the exhibit and will feature a talk about artifacts recovered from the shipwreck by QAR Project Director Billy Ray Morris.
