DATAW ISLAND, SC August 12, 2014 – Final results of the 37th Carolinas Women’s Four-Ball Championship hosted by Dataw Island Club (Cotton Dike Course) on Tuesday, August 12, 2014.  Par 36-36—72 5735 yards (Rating: 72.7/129). Hayley Hammond of Mooresville, NC and Lea Venable of Simpsonville, SC fire an impressive 7-under par round of 65—132 to capture their first Carolinas Women’s Four-Ball Championship title together after a loss in a sudden death playoff in 2013. 111 Local Qualifiers Will Be Conducted Nationwide In May Far Hills, N.J. (Feb. 19, 2013) – The United States Golf Association (USGA) today announced local qualifying sites for the 2013 U.S. Open Championship, which will be contested at Merion Golf Club, in Ardmore, Pa., on June 13-16. Similar pattern to past weeks, but the fish are moving shallow with low water levels. Try Spooks and Jitterbugs. Trout: Fair. Captain Steve Pietrykowski reports the trout are deep and trolling in the big water 70-110 feet down has been most effective.
