Bichette, Lewis Help Down Lexington Again LEXINGTON, KY – Dante Bichette, Jr. broke a 4-4 tie with an RBI single in the ninth inning to give the Charleston RiverDogs a 5-4 triumph over the Lexington Legends in South Atlantic League action on Sunday afternoon at Whitaker Bank Ballpark. The victory completed a four-game sweep by the RiverDogs and upped their record to 67-62 (28-34 in the second half). Charleston Battery, Wilmington Hammerheads advance in Saturday’s quarterfinals TAMPA, Fla. – The semifinals of the USL PRO Playoffs were set on Saturday night as the No.3-seed Charleston Battery took a 2-1 victory against the No.6-seed Harrisburg City Islanders and No.5-seed Wilmington Hammerheads took victory against the No.4-seed Richmond Kickers. N.C. State Downs CofC In Invitational Championship Match

CHARLESTON, S.C. – ACC program N.C. State defeated the College of Charleston 3-1 (25-20, 20-25, 25-21, 25-20) in the final match of the Hampton Inn & Suites West Ashley Invitational at TD Arena Saturday night.   Despite four sets that remained close throughout, the Wolfpack (3-0) were able to pull away in the final points at each juncture and dash the Cougars’ (2-1) hopes of a tournament title on opening weekend.   Junior Darcy Dorton led the Cougars with 19 kills, while Sloane White tallied 10 kills.
