College of Charleston Releases 2012 Volleyball Schedule

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston head volleyball coach Jason Kepner has released the 2012 indoor schedule. With four tournaments and a trip to Kansas, this year’s schedule will feature high-level volleyball as the Cougars look to make yet another run at a Southern Conference championship. College of Charleston 2012 Volleyball Schedule (PDF)   The Cougars will open the season with two home tournaments at TD Arena. The first tourney will feature Sacramento State, Jacksonville and N.C. State on August 24-25. GREENSBORO, N.C. – Matt Pegler put together a quality start and the CofC offense tallied 12 hits to lead the Cougars to a 10-4 win over UNCG to finish the 2012 regular season. The Cougars’ win, combined with an Appalachian State loss, gave College of Charleston a share of the 2012 SoCon Regular Season title, the program’s first since 2007.
