CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston men’s basketball team will open the 2014 Puerto Rico Tip-Off with defending national champion Connecticut. The in-season tournament will be held on Nov. 20-21 & 23 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.   The eighth annual event will not only feature CofC and UConn, but Boston College, Dayton, George Mason, New Mexico, Texas A&M and West Virginia. Back-to-back twin bills coming up on Tuesday and Wednesday SAVANNAH, GA August 4, 2014 – The Charleston RiverDogs and the Savannah Sand Gnats were scheduled for a doubleheader on Monday at Historic Grayson Stadium, but the doubleheader has been postponed due to rain. This four-game series will be compressed into two days with Savannah hosting a pair of doubleheaders, starting on Tuesday at 5:35pm and Wednesday at 5:05pm.
