MYRTLE BEACH, SC August 13, 2014 – The Myrtle Beach Pelicans, Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Texas Rangers, lost both contests to the Carolina Mudcats 3-2 and 6-5 on Wednesday night at TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark. The sellout of 6,599 fans set a new franchise record for most sellouts in season with six on the year. The Mudcats turned to Jerrud Sabourin for offense on the evening, as he collected four hits, two doubles, and four RBI.
