CofC sets four school records Complete Results MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The College of Charleston women’s track and field team had a successful weekend, highlighted by four new school records at the Shamrock Invitational hosted by Coastal Carolina. After establishing the second best mark in school history in the javelin at the Cougars first outdoor meet, freshman Christine Klinar came back and shattered the record by nearly 12 feet as she threw 123 feet, four inches and finished in eighth-place. The meet will start with the multi-events on Thursday at 12:00p.m. with the Heptathlon 100-meter hurdles. The Cougars opened the outdoor season by hosting the Palmetto Classic on Friday March 11.
