National Anthem tryouts will be held on Tuesday, February 18th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Tryouts for the PA Annoucner and On-Field Emcee will be held Wednesday, February 19th at 6:00 PM. Anyone whishing to tryout for any of these positions should pre-register by calling the Pelicans Front Office at 843-918-6000 by Monday, February 17th.

CONWAY, SC Feb. 9, 2014 – The College of Charleston softball was outlasted by Coastal Carolina in a 3-2, eight-inning defeat at the Coastal Carolina Softball Complex on Sunday afternoon. CofC (0-2) outhit the Chanticleers, 9-4, and reached at least one runner in every inning except for the eighth, but lacked the timely hitting needed to cash in on runs. 14-2013 NGA Tour Pro Series Members make the cut at NEC Series Sebring Qualifier SEBRING, FL January 25, 2013 – The 2nd full season of the PGA Tour Latinoamerica season begins this year but first the newly titled NEC Series had to hold their stateside qualifier to determine the players for this season’s tour. The qualifier, held at Sun N Lake Golf Club in Sebring, Fla. WILMINGTON NC January 26, 2014 - The National Weather Service Sunday issued a winter storm watch for southeast North Carolina and northeast South Carolina. It will be in effect Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday afternoon. According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, another Arctic front is set move into the region late Monday, bringing very cold temperatures and the potential for winter weather. This front will stall offshore Tuesday and Wednesday. A low pressure system will develop along this front and move along the coast, bringing an extended period of snow and sleet to the area.
