CLEMSON, SC Oct. 11, 2014 – The No. 25 Clemson Tigers pulled out a 23-17 victory over Louisville with their backs against the wall, holding the Cardinals on a last-minute, goal-line stand to preserve a hard-fought victory. The Tigers improved to 4-2 overall and 3-1 in the ACC in the first-ever meeting between the two. The Knights used goals from senior midfielder Preston Rolle (SR/Freeport, Bahamas) and freshman Jon Ander (FR/Bilboa, Spain) to improve to 8-1 on the season and 4-1 in the conference. St. Andrews now sits in second place in the Appalachian Athletic Conference behind only undefeated and 14th ranked Union College.
