WILMINGTON, NC July 18, 2014 – Sectional qualifying results of the 5th North Carolina Amateur Match Play Championship hosted by Masonboro Country Club in Wilmington, NC on Friday, July 18, 2014 (6619 yards, Par 35-36—71, 74.4/139). Chris Eaves of Burgaw, NC and Christian Cichan of Charlotte, NC both shot one-over par 72 to share medalist honors. The cut line fell at nine-over par 80. 13 players advanced to the 5th North Carolina Amateur Match Play Championship that will be played July 30-August 3 at River Landing (Landing course) in Wallace, NC.
