Agreement Reached in Red Wolf Lawsuit Against Wildlife Commission

RALEIGH, NC Nov. 14, 2014 — An agreement has been reached in a lawsuit against the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission, which will restore conditional coyote hunting in the five-county red wolf reintroduction area of eastern North Carolina. The agreement will restore daytime coyote hunting on private lands in Dare, Hyde, Beaufort, Tyrrell and Washington counties by licensed or otherwise authorized hunters, with a special permit obtained from the Wildlife Commission and subsequent reporting of kill. In the other 95 counties of the state, coyote hunters may hunt during daytime or at night using artificial lights, and no special permit or reporting of coyote harvests is required. Charlotte Hornets Michael Kidd-Gilchrist Injury Update

MKG has Stress Reaction in His Right Foot CHARLOTTE, NC Nov. 14, 2014 – Charlotte Hornets forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist has been diagnosed with a stress reaction in his right foot. Kidd-Gilchrist, who underwent a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) yesterday, will miss the remaining two games on the team’s road trip. He will be re-evaluated in Charlotte and a recovery timeline will be determined at that time. In six games this season, Kidd-Gilchrist is averaging 9.8 points on .625 shooting from the field, 5.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 23.3 minutes per game.
