RALEIGH, NC Nov. 7, 2014 — The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission’s Home From The Hunt™ campaign is reminding waterfowl hunters who use boats to exercise boating safety and hunting safety. The Wildlife Commission has set dates, bag limits and applicable regulations for the 2014-15 waterfowl seasons, with tundra swan (by permit only), duck and geese hunting segments opening on Saturday. CLEMSON, SC Nov. 7, 2014 – The 14th ranked Clemson men’s soccer team will host No. 18 Wake Forest Sunday afternoon at Historic Riggs Field. The match will kick off at 1 p.m. on ESPN3. Tickets can be purchased online through the Clemson Ticket Office or at the gate. Clemson finished the 2014 regular season with a 10-6-1 overall record and a 5-2-1 record in the ACC. NC Wildlife Commission Schedules Shooting Range Re-Opening Event

ELLERBE, NC Nov. 6, 2014 — The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission has scheduled a re-opening event at its recently renovated shooting range at the John F. Lentz Hunter Education Complex this Saturday, Nov. 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The “Veteran’s Day Kickoff,” which is free and open to the public, celebrates the re-opening of the shooting range. Activities will include trap, rifle, archery, pistol and 3D archery shooting, as well as a Wildlife Enforcement Officer shooting demonstration. A catered barbeque lunch, provided by Valentine Land and Timber, will be served at noon.
