Spent the last six seasons on the Charleston staff CHARLESTON, SC – Hitting coach Greg Colbrunn has left the Charleston RiverDogs and the New York Yankees organization and will be the new hitting coach for the Boston Red Sox. Boston Executive Vice President/General Manager Ben Cherington and Manager John Farrell jointly made the announcement Wednesday afternoon. Colbrunn has been with the RiverDogs since 2007 and has become a fan favorite at The Joe while residing year-round in the Charleston suburb of Mt. Pleasant. Play Begins Wednesday at PGA West Clemson, SC November 28, 2012 — Seven former Clemson golfers have reached the third and final stage of PGA Tour Qualifying. That final stage begins Wednesday at two courses at PGA West in California. The seven former Tigers who will compete in the six-round marathon that will conclude on Monday are D.J. Trahan, Ben Martin, Phillip Mollica, Vince Hatfield, Stephen Poole, Danny Ellis and Brian Duncan. Trahan has been on the PGA Tour every year since 2005.
