Knights to Host “Winter Wonderful” Event on Saturday, December 8

Toy and Coat Drive, Santa Claus, and More Headline First-Ever Knights Holiday Event Fort Mill, SC – On Saturday, December 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the Knights will host “Winter Wonderful” at Knights Stadium. The event will feature a toy and coat drive, a tree lot for fans interested in purchasing that special tree, arts and crafts for children, face painting, holiday music and the appearance by Santa Claus. Photos with Santa are free and will be taken by a Knights photographer. Charleston, SC – Charleston Battery head coach Mike Anhaeuser will be in Kingston, Jamaica over the next few days visiting with Charleston Battery players Dane Kelly and Navion Boyd in addition to watching several Jamaican Premier League matches. The Battery has a long tradition of signing or loaning Jamaican players dating back to the 1993 season.   In 2012 Dane Kelly and Navion Boyd both played for the Charleston Battery on loan from Tivoli Gardens while Dino Williams was loaned to the Battery from Village United.
