Nov. 30, 2012 – South Carolina returns to Colonial Life Arena after three games away from Columbia when it hosts Clemson on Sunday. The Gamecocks have won two-straight games in the series between the two intrastate rivals, and look for a third-consecutive victory in the series for the first time since the 2003 campaign. WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW puts its two-game winning streak on the line Saturday night when Buzz Peterson’s club opens December by traveling to the heart of West Virginia to take on Conference USA member Marshall at the Cam Henderson Center. The Seahawks are coming off a pair of victories over the weekend in the Nations of Coaches Classic, where they defeated Wofford and Hampton for the Wilmington division crown. Tajh Boyd Named ACC Player of the Year

CLEMSON, SC – Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd was named the overall Player of the Year and the Offensive Player of the Year in the Atlantic Coast Conference on Wednesday. Earlier Boyd was named first-team All-ACC for the second straight year and is the first Clemson quarterback to be a two-time first-team selection since Steve Fuller in 1977 and 1978. Fuller was ACC Player of the Year in both of those seasons and Boyd is the first Clemson quarterback to win ACC Player of the Year since Fuller in 1978.
