Columbia, SC -Fans may have noticed senior guard Ieasia Walker wearing a different number during Sunday’s win over Clemson. Formerly No. 3 on the roster, Ieasia will wear No. 2 for the rest of the season to honor teammate Shelbretta Ball, who was slated to wear that number before being declared medically ineligible prior to last season. The Gamecocks also continue to wear the patch added to their uniforms last season to honor Shelbretta. The team wanted Brett and everyone watching to know that she will always be an integral part of them and whatever they achieve this season.

By Matt Rochinski bobcats.com November 20, 2012 What most fantasy players want is someone who is flashy – a big name who puts up big stats. Ask most fantasy players, “Who’d you get?” following their draft and they’re more than likely to say LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Kevin Love or another perennial all star they expect to dominate the fantasy scene. While their value is not overestimated, the true fantasy player knows it’s the blue-collar guys who can get you wins from week to week, and getting consistent production from guys deeper down your bench is key. Cats center Brendan Haywood has been the portrait of consistency since coming to the Bobcats. He’s not going to give you […]

By Caroline Sikes bobcats.com November 20, 2012 KEY MATCHUP vs RAPTORS Ramon Sessions vs. DeMar DeRozan Sessions has been coming up big off the bench for the Bobcats early in the season, splitting minutes with Kemba Walker at point, but Head Coach Mike Dunlap also likes to leave Sessions in at the two spot. In the first nine games, Sessions has averaged 16.6 points and has scored in double figures every contest while shooting 42.2 percent. The guard also dishes out 4.2 assists and grabs 3.6 boards in 27.7 minutes.
