MT. PLEASANT, S.C. – The College of Charleston women’s soccer team welcomes the Citadel to Patriots Point for the teams’ Southern Conference regular-season finale. The Cougars host this 12th edition of the crosstown rivalry which will factor heavily into which team(s) move on to the SoCon Tournament and which team’s season could abruptly end. TOURNAMENT SCENARIOS CofC (5-11-1, 4-5-1 SoCon) currently sits in seventh place in the clustered standings which will send the top-eight teams to the SoCon Tournament. Carolina To Host Tennessee Saturday Columbia, SC Oct. 24, 2012 -The University of South Carolina football squad practiced Wednesday afternoon at the Bluff Road “Proving Grounds”. The No. 17/16 Gamecocks (6-2, 4-2 SEC) will host the Tennessee Volunteers (3-4, 0-4 SEC) on Saturday, October 27. Game time is set for Noon ET.
