The Cougars (5-11-1, 1-6-1 CAA) were unable to complete the unenviable task of solving the nation’s best defense, as NU goalkeeper Paige Burnett and company posted the Huskies’ 13th shutout of the season. The Cougars (1-0) controlled virtually every facet of the game and enjoyed long spells of possession en route to the convincing victory. BUY SEASON TICKETS | Charleston Classic Information COLUMBIA, SC August 5, 2014 – ESPN unveiled the bracket for the 2014 Charleston Classic on Tuesday, where it was announced that South Carolina will open tournament action against Cornell on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 7:30 p.m. ET. The matchup will be broadcast on ESPN3. The remaining teams in the field include Akron, Charlotte, Drexel, Miami (Fla.), Penn State and Southern California.   The multi-day, destination event will feature 12 games over three days.
