WILMINGTON, NC April 26, 2014 – The Charlotte Eagles defeated Wilmington Hammerheads FC 2-0 at Legion Stadium on Saturday night. Midfielders Wells Thompson and Drew Yates led the Eagles to victory with one goal each in the second half. Midfielder Daniel Lovitz had several shots on Eagles goalkeeper Brock Duckworth throughout the night, but none found the back of the net to give the Hammerheads the points they needed to find the overall victory that would continue their undefeated streak. ORLANDO, FL April 12, 2014 – The Charleston Battery (0-1-2) lost to Orlando City SC (2-0-2) by a score of one goal to none on Saturday night at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Stadium.  Substitute forward Brian Spann scored the lone goal slotting home from close range in the 74th minute. The loss was the Battery’s first of the USL PRO season. Campbell, Watson make USL PRO debut with Hammerheads Wilmington, NC March 26, 2014 – Wilmington Hammerheads FC announced today the addition of two Jamaican international players, Andrae Campbell and Jason Watson, for the 2014 USL PRO regular season. The former teammates will be making their USL PRO debut with the Hammerheads this season, pending USSF approval.   Andrae Campbell began his international career representing Jamaica at the 2009 CONCACAF Championship for the FIFA U20 World Cup qualifiers. In 2011, he also represented the Jamaica U23 National Team competing in Olympic qualifying.
