St. Andrews Knights Soccer edges TWC for 6th consecutive win

By: Troy Baranik, Sports Information LAURINBURG, NC Oct. 7, 2014 – The St. Andrews University men’s soccer team continued their brilliant season as they won their sixth straight game on Tuesday afternoon holding off a late rally to defeat Tennessee Wesleyan College 2-1 in Laurinburg. The Knights used goals from senior midfielder Preston Rolle (SR/Freeport, Bahamas) and freshman Jon Ander (FR/Bilboa, Spain) to improve to 8-1 on the season and 4-1 in the conference. St. Andrews now sits in second place in the Appalachian Athletic Conference behind only undefeated and 14th ranked Union College.
